We have a limited number of pre-production devices (see below) available if you want to get started right away.

Bangle.js 2.0 specs:

• Nordic 64MHz nRF52840 ARM Cortex-M4 processor with Bluetooth LE
  
• 256kB RAM 1024kB on-chip flash, 8MB external flash
• 1.3 inch 176x176 always-on 3 bit colour LCD display (LPM013M126)
• Full touchscreen
• GPS/Glonass receiver (AT6558)
• Heart rate monitor
• 3 Axis Accelerometer
• 3 Axis Magnetometer
• Air Pressure/Temperature sensor (Bosch BMP280)
• Vibration motor
• 200mAh battery, 1 week standby time
• 36mm x 43mm x 12mm watch body, with standard 20mm watch straps
• Full SWD debug port on rear of watch

While the final Bangle.js 2 will be IP67 waterproof, these developer versions are not waterproof, and do not have a short circuit protected charge cable. If you need this version to be waterproof you can seal the sensor hole (top of watch, behind the strap) with some glue, however it will make the pressure sensor readings ineffective.

Improvements over Bangle.js 1:

• Smaller, lighter watch body
• Always-on screen with full touch
• 4x more RAM, 2x more Flash
• Better Bluetooth signal strength
• Air pressure sensor
• SWD debug port available

The hardware of the developer edition is basically identical to the final version, but the final version will have:

• More polished software and out of box experience
• IP67 waterproofing
• Short circuit protected charge cable (developer units just have a normal cable)
• Branded box and getting started information

Note: These devices are more expensive than the production Bangle.js 2.0. It is possible to buy an "SMA Q3" watch and program it yourself substantially more cheaply, however the price of these developer units reflects the fact we don't have many in stock, and are expecting that you'll also want some support in the forum
